Mission
To
increase the number of evaluators who deliver evaluations that
are relevant, of high quality, and useful. The Evaluators'
Institute® offers concentrated professional development courses
on evaluation topics. Nationally and internationally recognized
leaders in the evaluation profession helped with the conception
of the Institute in 1995-96 and each year assist with
the planning and implementation of courses and the continued development
of TEI.

Course
Objectives
One-
to four-day courses are offered on a variety of topics to help
practicing evaluators learn new skills or polish old ones. But,
others who know something about scientific research and want to
learn applications in evaluation or who nevertheless find themselves
involved in evaluation tasks should also be challenged by the
courses. It is hoped that those who attend will hone their skills
in diagnosing, analyzing, designing, managing, and implementing
such that evaluations, and the programs evaluated, will be improved. |
