Certificate in Advanced Evaluation Practices

The Certificate in Advanced Evaluation Practices is awarded for completion of the first level Certificate in Evaluation Practice, plus additional instruction designed to lead to an increased breadth and depth of understanding of the comprehensive array of approaches and theories of evaluation practice. It is for experienced evaluators and others who wish to expand their evaluation horizons, deepen their understandings, and increase their abilities to produce high quality evaluations tailored to programs that vary in nature and scope and that serve diverse audiences.

Requirements: Completion of Certificate in Evaluation Practice, plus 15 days of required coursework in Group IIA topics, below, and 15 days of electives from Groups IIB and IIC topics, over and beyond electives chosen for the first-level certificate (CEP). In the list below, each topic is linked to the current TEI course that satisfies the requirement or the elective.

Many past TEI courses satisfy part or all of the hours associated with Group II courses. If you are a past TEI participant, you may request a transcript showing your credits against any Certificate. Send a stamped and self-addressed envelope to the TEI office: 116 Front Street, Federal Building, Rm 236, Lewes, DE 19958, and indicate which certificate(s) are of interest. Transcripts will be provided at no cost as long as we are permitted to handle these requests as we have time, i.e., within 30 days. For rush orders, send a check for $10 along with a stamped and self-addressed envelope.
